Sapa 3 Days 2 Nights

Discover the breathtaking beauty and rich cultural tapestry of Sapa, a jewel nestled in the lush mountains of northern Vietnam. Our meticulously crafted 3-day Sapa tour promises an unforgettable journey into this mesmerizing region, renowned for its iconic rice terraces and vibrant hill tribe communities.

The tour consists of these remarkable parts:

DAY 1: DRIVE TO SAPA & TREK TO SA XENG

You will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi early in the morning (about 7.30 AM). This morning, you will travel to Sapa on the HW Noi Bai – Lao Cai. This is the longest highway in Vietnam. The scenic drive from the Red River Delta, through the midland to Lao Cai province will be a good start for your trip. Arrive in Sapa by noon. Have lunch at a restaurant in town. After that, we will transfer to a trekking point in Sa Xéng Village, have a short stop on the way to take photo of Muong Hoa Valley. Arrive at Hau Thao, get off your vehicle and start the afternoon trek to Sả Xéng. The trek is on a small back road winding along the uneven Valley. Most of the way is gently downhill, passing several villages and views of rice terraced fields. Get picked up at the end of the trek and make your way back to Sapa town. Check in a hotel for the night. Dinner is on your own account.

  • Approx: 7 km/ 2 hour trekking.

DAY 2: MUONG HOA VALLEY (CAT CAT - Y LINH HO - LAO CHAI - TAVAN VILLAGES)

After your breakfast at the hotel, together with your tour guide, you will set off for a moderate trek to Muong Hoa Valley. The first stop is by a waterfall at Cat Cat village of the Black H'mong people for taking photographs and listen to some traditional music and dance (if you come right at the time of a show). The first part of the trek in Cat Cat Village is quite crowded on concrete steps down to the waterfall, but then we continue on toward Lao Chai village on a small dirt path along the valley. This is a less-traveled path in the valley and the scenery is stunning. A basic lunch is at a local food store on the trek. After lunch, we will descend to Lao Chai village and on to the Ta Van village for the home-stay. The terrain can be steep at times and slightly challenging for seniors. However, you with a moderate fitness level should be fine. The home-stay accommodation for the evening is basic, but clean bedding and mosquito nets are provided. Dinner and overnight at a local house.

  • Approx: 12 km/ 7 hour trekking

DAY 3: DRIVE BACK TO HANOI

This morning is easy and free for you to relax and do some shopping at Sapa town (If you would like to keep busy with more trekking our tour guide and driver is always ready at your service). An optional activity you may be interested in is taking a cable-car ride to Fansipan Peak, the Top of Indochina. At 1:00 PM, we leave Sapa for Hanoi on the same HW. Arrive in Hanoi around 6:00 PM.
